Not me but I will be watching this thread! They look awesome I'm very tempted to try
(I don't like strawberry's so if they really do taste pineapple-ish they would be great for me!)

Perhaps you could ask a mod to put this in the fruit forum. You might get more responses then.

just had a look, gosh they know how to charge, aparrently no seeds,as they are a x breed, and only come true from runners of the parent plant,1 place i looked showed they only a small plant, and the fruit just under an 1in wide, also not big on cropping like the strawberries,

I think a few might be on the "to get" list for next year. The other half doesn't like Pineapple so I might actually get to eat them :-)

                        Pineberries

I bought 3 in a sale at Dobbies at Shepton Mallet. They only cost me £1 each and all had runners. Will plant them in the garden not the allotment so that I can keep a close eye on them. Will not have any results until next year though.

I have never, ever even heard of pineberries until this thread !
                              I must get some.
Any tips on growing them/soil requirements ? Are they hardy ? Or are they yet another of these species destined never to be grown where the winter nights are longer and the haggis prowls free ?
