When you have a hammer in your hand everything around you starts looking like a nail.

I've got a couple of balconi red (miniature variety) started under my fish tank lights in January but I mainly sow tomato seeds in the first few weeks of March & put them on the bathroom windowsill to germinate & some go under the light.

I've got a few on the go as I had some growlights for Xmas and the need to sow + the chance to try out my new toy proved too much...
    Most will get sown March(ish)

I'll sow a few basket ones in the next week but I won't sow main crop for over a month now. Have done earlier, they've been a pain to look after for so long and when compared with later showings I found no advantage

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I sow a few first week in March then the rest at the end of March, I've sown them earlier before and I've had huge plant that need carrying between the kitchen and GH twice a day.

Started 12 off 4 or 5 days ago.
Had seeds, had time so they went into a 12 section plastic sowing thingy.
Might be early but as a rule the alternative is very, very late. Or not at all.

I used to sow mine much too early because I was eager to start but I now wait until mid March so I don't have the whole house inundated with trays and trays of them that need to be moved until I can put them outside.
