My raspberry, Malling Jewel, is sending up suckers near to my currant and goosegog bushes. When would you dig them up to replant?

As any plant in the wrong place is by definition a weed - now!

The smaller they are the easier it will be to move them. Raspberries run horizontal suckers under the ground, you may be able to follow it back to the main plant. If you do move the suckers, try to make sure you dig back far enough to get roots.

In my garden raspberries are almost a weed. I have them in every flower border and the lawn - the entire garden must have been one enormous raspberry bed before we came!
