I got them in early 2015, didnt get any fruit first year (wasnt expecting any as only fruit on old wood)

2016 I got a modest crop, expecting more next year but they do taste great and are large berries

I also managed to get 13 suckers off to multiply my stock

Im not an expert but I wouldnt cut them back

They are floricanes and fruit on laterals that come out of 1 year old wood so you might be lucky and get some fruit this year.

This year new canes will grow which will then fruit next year so the canes that you already have can be cut back this autumn once they have fruited

This has been really useful - thank you guys. I have been wondering whether to buy some Ruby Falls to try in containers on the patio.

I blight two pairs last year, as yet no fruit.

T&M advised me not to cut them an I as mentioned before as they fruit on old wood.
1 of my pots got smothered in mildew late last year.

Hoping for great things from them as I've invested a lot of effort so far.

^^Nice one, last year I bought 3 to start with and potted up as per instructions. They seemed to go down hill very quickly so me being me I bought 3 more, needless to say they were only doing their own thing and I ended up with 6 very healthy plants.

Even now they look dead just sticks poking out the ground but after last year I think I will wait and see.

                            Nice Pots
As i took over a new lottie with both summer and autumn berries on it i ended up giving most of mine away to family and two to the lady whose plot i took over( she took over my smaller one).
The ones i have left are looking pretty good, ( ill take a fot when it stops raining) and seem to have a few berries forming but my guess is theyll be better next season.

Both of mine are now growing away happily, no sign of previous mildew problems.

Wondering though if and when to feed.....
