Hi just thought I'd share a piccie of my Redcurrants I bought from Poundworld about 3 weeks ago and put into pots and are sat in one of my bedroom windows. Would it be best to stick them outside during the day and bring in at night to try to harden them off a bit prior to planting out on the plot. Will they just manage to take a drop in temperature and just slow down in growth, I don't want to risk the foliage being killed off by planting out and the frost getting at them.

I bought a white currant and a red currant from the pound shop before christmas, they have been sitting in pots in the garden over winter. I planted them on the allotment a couple of weeks ago and they are flourishing.Be Vegan -
White currants I don't have (yet - the pound shop didn't have any)
I got a golden currant from W1lk0s a couple of weeks ago which is sitting outside in my back garden in a MFB and doing fine despite being in a warm shop for however long. Also put out a cranberry and an olive stick, both are fine.
