Plum Tree Help please... Am I still ok to plant a plum tree at this time of year? My son wants one on the allotment.

i believe this is the time of year for planting fruit, I have a plum tree on its way too.
You might just want to check with whoever runs your allotments if you are allowed to plant trees though. If not you can grow some varieties in a pot.Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.
