last year we had such a bad summer that only the tulameen (i think thats how its spelt) raspberries fruited, the joan j just refused,so i cut the fruited stems to the ground and left the joan j until march when i retied them in and trimmed them to about 5ft,they are now covered in blossom and if half develop fruit then we will have a super glut....drool... and the others are now growing strongly,so another crop due in the autumn,as the "a" team used to say "isnt it great when a plan goes right", pure guessology, but thank you god...will be lovely rasp ice cream as well as blackcurrant, now fruiting up nicely ..

After bearing fruit last summer on the year old stems the new stems on my Tulameen started to fruit around late sept. Not sure what to do I cut the tops off. They are now laden with fruit. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed...
