  • Is it to late to take a cutting of a pear tree

Is it to late to take a cutting of a pear tree (conference) and graft onto Pyrodwarf rootstock which has been growing in the ground for 18 months and is now 2.5ft - 3ft high?
Feed the soil, not the plants.

Too late for top grafting Fishpond but nearly the right time to bud graft.
I have four failures from springtime grafting and i,m going to try my hand at bud grafting them next month.
