I was then about to put it down for flower of the month.

    The dwarf nectarines in gh2

The peaches in gh1 only a few are open, in the patch the nectarine is open, the peaches may possibly be going over (only discovered them open yesterday), the apricot just has a few, and one of cherry plums is quickly opening its flowers.

No more than 2 weeks to go for my apples and pears---unless we get a coldsnap.
Feed the soil, not the plants.

All my pears are showing signs of flowering soon too, and my plum is also definitely thinking about it. No signs of life from the apples yet though.

Now some of the flower buds on the pears have actually opened and are at the "tight cluster" stage:

By my reckoning this is more like 3-4 weeks ahead of where they should be since the NFC gives average 10% flowering dates in late April and it won't be much longer til we're there.

So far, one flower on my outdoor peach tree and the mirabelle plum is about 80% in full flower.
    Stage 3-4 on the pears.

Everything else is still just thinking about waking up
