Hello All
Bought 2 seedless dessert grape vines, one black (Crimson) and one white (Lakemond)
Both are one year old and were pruned last winter ( in nursery from where i bought them online 3 weeks back)
I am still to put them in ground ( Delay with spport structure coming up)
I want to train them as cordons ( each wine with only two permanent arms on both side from which spurs will grow every season to bear fruits)
I dont want fruit for next 2 years but a very healthy tree with stong arms.
How dont know how to prune them , i know i am suppose to pinch out few growths so the frame is created etc etc.. i read/researched a lot but still not sure what to do ... they look so tender ..
See attached picture ... experts please advice on pruning/pinching and what should I feed them.
1st 3 pics are of Lakemont ( 1st is full pic, 2nd pic is bottom half and 3rd is top half of vine)
4th Pic is of Crimson ( its growing like a very slow bush with anothr growth on the side)
