| all my red currant Raspberry and black currant bushes are in leaf burst and so are all my cuttings. I hope to have a good crop this year, I cannot remember if they need covering re the birds or not. benacer

| Bex, Mrskp, don't give up on your raspberries yet, even the ones that just look like dead sticks. If you rummage around the base of them you may find 'sucker type growths coming up around them which will produce new canes this year. My autumn canes looked like dead twigs for ages last year before they sprang into life & I also got some new canes growing up from their bases.
