  • Dwarf Apple Tree Pruning

Last year I was given a dwarf Apple Tree as a moving house present and this was planted last March.

There were no flowers last year though the tree did grow.

Should I be pruning the tree this year? In subsequent years? if so how and when?

Can you add a photo? It's difficult to advise without. While you're at perhaps you could also add your location to your profile as this may have a bearing on answers. Having said that the most obvious would be to prune off anything dead or dying.
There's a guide on Ken Muir's website which I would paste a link to if my iPad was playing nicely.

Need pictures, variety name, rootstock, your approximate location/climate/soil, where it's planted and what form you want it to take when mature.
