I wouldn't have thought UK climate is hot enough for long enough for custard apple tree to thrive. It is a tree, isn't it or small bush? They're also called Soursop or Sopadilla???? Hopefully someone will come along with concrete answers. You never know, some Grapes are willing to give Pineapple a go, so anything goes I guess.

Am with Veg4681 on this one, may make a nice house plant though.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

        Hi Kakdela,

I grew Custard apple before but back then was in Singapore (tropic), it is also called Anona.
Mine was on a dwarf rootstock and was grown in pot (bear fruits on it's 2nd year at the height of 50 to 60 cm).It is one of my favorite fruit, yummy !
If you grow it from seeds, it will take years (and big too). They need warm and lots of sunshine. You Could grow them in greenhouse (I think) and bring it in during winter. My fear will be giving them enough light during winter as they are tropical and subtropical origin. If you get the subtropical ones, it might cope Uk climate a bit better than the tropical one.
The plant does look attractive fo houseplant .
Good luck with and here are some of my custard apple pictures.
