| Hi guys I have been bought an Apple tree for my birthday that is on MM106 Rootstock. As it is it will grow too tall to be allowed on the allotment and there is nowhere at home for it to go. So I was wondering if I can train this to be an espalier? If so what needs to be done. I have done a search but can find nothing on converting an MM106 to espalier. It is currently about 6ft. |

| Here you go wizer try this http://www.findarticles.com/p/articl...180/ai_6286265 But basically you plant it & then tie the branches in horizontally. Just remember that they will have set in the upright position now though , so you'll have to straighten them out over a period of time otherwise you'll break the branches off.
