  • Cherry tree advice

    Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone on here has cherry trees and if so what fertilizer (brand and name) have you found to be the best for them?

    Thanks

Stone fruits, such as cherries are pretty simple when it comes to feeding. A balanced feed such as growmore does the trick. However nitrogen and potassium are the key things they require.

If you don't like growmore for some reason, poultry manure and sulphate of potash will also work.

      Ok thanks,

When is the best time to use it? When they come out of dormancy or when the fruit starts to grow?

      Thanks

Now is the perfect time. Late winter/early spring in preparation for the season.
