Default Cherry Fly

Hi,

We're new to this forum and new to growing having just bought an orchard. It's very exciting but a little bit scary too being presented with so many trees that need our looking after them - I'm sure we'll be posting lots of questions.

One thing the previous owner mentioned was that the only time he sprays is for cherry fly. Can anyone tell us when we should be doing this and what with?! We would like to use as few chemicals as possible so something organic would be good and we're in southern France it that makes any difference with the timing. The cherry trees have started to produce fruit which is currently small to medium sized and very green.

Thanks in advance for any help.
