  • Cell grown rasps

As apposed to bare rooted, has anyone tried these, I'm not ready to plant out this year, then I saw cell grown plants and wondered if they'd be ok for planting in a month or so.

I'll take that as a no then, I will not be preparing the bed for the rasps for a couple of months, I'll order a few and then see how they go and report back on the success or otherwise.

You could always buy bare root and pot them up until you are ready to plant.

Thanks for the link, I've got a catalogue from Pomona, ordered some Strawbs and looking to get some Rasps and thought these might be worth a shot. The sales blurb is as they're sold with a root ball intact, you can transplant when you like and a better survival rate against bare rooted, price is similar, just a bit more for postage.
