  • Blueberry plant

    Hello All
    Quick enquiry
Ive had a blueberry plant come through the post today once ive repotted it in the correct compost will it be best in the greenhouse as it's a very young plant?
    Thanks

It will probably be OK outside, but I have to admit that I always put mine in the greenhouse for their first winter. It does have the disadvantage in that next year's blossom will be early and may miss the bees. Remember that blueberries prefer rainwater, especially if you live in a hard-water area, so try to catch them a bit in a bucket or something if you haven't got a butt. They shouldn't need too much water over the winter months anyway.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

They are as hard as nails and will be fine outside.
