  • Blueberry companion plant?

    Hi,

I have some Blueberry plants in quite large pots.I feel the area around them could be used by small plants.Does anyone know which plants (must be edible ) would survive in the ericaceous sp? soil.
    Would strawberries survive?

    Thanks
    Steve

Don't know about strawberries, but cranberries would love it. They're small and trailing so would spill out of your pots nicely and like exactly the same conditions as blueberries.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

      Thanks bluemoon

After having a quick search on here earlier i didnt find anything on blueberries and strawberries together.
Then............after you suggested cranberry i did a search for "cranberry" and found a recent thread here!

Think i may try strawbs in one and look for a cranberry for the other.

      cheers
