At the end of last summer, my currant bushes, developed some kind of problem, the leaves died, but it was very early, I did post on here, and received some advice, (think it was Alison) apologies if wrong person. Anyway, I cut them right back, and they have grown beautifully, but no flowers and therefore no fruit, is it possible this will happen later, or because of harsh pruning, no fruit till next year?

Sorry to say you will have to wait for fruit until next year. They flower and fruit on second year wood.
