Default lime tree HELP!!!!!

hi on a whim i have bought a lime tree its a persian lime and i have found some info on thenet but now i need experienced advice rather than just bog standard advice ,
i live in the canary islands so i know heat is no problem but what else do i do with it ? just stick it in the ground and keep my fingers crossed x x

Try on this forum, its specific to citrus fruit. They're quite friendly I've posted there about my Lidl lemon.
