  • uses for pond silt compost???

    hello,

My gardening client cleared out his large pond last year and has approx 50 bags stacked at the back of the garden filled with the silt etc he removed. I've taken a look in a couple of the bags and the contents now look like fine topsoil or infact exactly like aquatic compost. He was planning to take these to the dump, but is there any use for this around the garden? It sort of seems a shame to waste it.

    Many thanks,

    Becca

Cool :0) and think I'll let him off the shooting ;0) He's my first client (just started an organic, wildlife friendly garden maintenance and design company) and is paying me to sort out his huge, gorgeous garden so I'm a very happy bunny :0)

charge him a reasonable amount to dispose of it and then sell it at a reasonable rate to your next customers!!
