Default planting out & tilthing

Hi

Another question? sorry

After a glorious day, i was thinking about when i am ready to plant, i have dug my plot over a few times and then added some compost and manure, and it is covered over warming up nicely. my question is that should i re-dig and re-dig and then rake again for a fine tilth before planting out??

I have also got some fish, blood and bone to add to the soil, it really was rubbish soil before i started, i have been told this will help it a lot.

Am i in the right direction - thanks
SS
