    Horseradish for fertiliser?

    I have comfrey on my plot and already use this to mulch and make comfrey tea.

    I also have a clump of horseradish that I can't seem to get rid of and I wondered if you could use leaves in a similar way. Anyone tried it?

    I have googled but no-one seems to have done it before.

    I use horseradish leaves, and all other weed/foliage leaves as a surface mulch. Just chop up, and drop

      Thanks TS, that's what I thought. Should be some goodness in them, the bladdy tap roots go down far enough.

      Apparently you can cook and eat horseradish leaves too. Might try that one, had broad bean tops last night and they were lovely.
