    I have just won this item on eBay can someone please tell me how I now use it I have no idea

    Put it on flat ground.
    You put all your garden plant rubbish in it, try to mix green stuff with woody stuff or torn up card board, news papers. (In layers) All your kitchen veg scraps etc, but not meat (encourages rats). keep doing that and as it rots down it will sink. If you can stir it up occasionaly it rots faster. next year you will have luvly compost which you dig out of the square door in the base. google compost and you will get more advice than you can shake a stick at.

      ^ ^ ^ What Bill said, but don't try to dig the compost out of the pathetic little door. Lift the whole container - it's easy if you wiggle it back and forth a couple of times to loosen it.

        I agree about the door but I use mine if I just want a small amount and there is green fresh stuff at the top.
