  • Composting moss

I have just scarified my lawn and have a load of moss, thatch etc. What is the best way of composting? Should I treat it as normal and turn, water etc to keep it hot? Does composting kill off the moss spores? So many questions!

How much of a moss problem do you have? And where do you want to use your compost? Moss does not rot down like grass does - it just goes dormant - then it will pop up again if the conditions are right (damp and dark). So if you use the compost in a dry sunny place, then go ahead.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Thanks for that, it's as I expected, I'll give composting it a go.
