  • Anyone tried B-actif Comfrey feed?

Just ordered some Comfrey pellets and Comfrey and Nettle feed liquid from the French company, B-actif.

Novice as I am, the products looked pretty impressive to me, and I'm assuming I just fork the pellets into the soil on my newly dug vegetable patch. Does anyone have any experience of these, or any advice they could help me with?

Haven't used them my self, are you short of growing space for a real plant ? Be much cheaper on the long run?

I'm not of growing space, Chris, but I just wanted something to be going on with to get me started. Once the nettles are all through I'm planning to make my own nettle liquid and I've also ordered a few comfrey plants as well to use for the same purpose.

I just used to scatter feed pellets and water in. Depends if you're digging it over or forking it over. I've used seaweed in pelleted form before but not comfrey. I make my own as Chris suggested, but you can't at this time of year.

I use real comfrey (leaves, chopped and left as a mulch; or steeped in a pungent brew for a fast feed).
