What I have growing to date

Posted 21-06-2008 at 09:44 AM by wornoutmumoftwo
As I said, a little of everything...

Potatoes - I have three lots growing, the first of which has the start of a flower, but I had a quick peek and they are new potatoes so I'm going to wait for them to get bigger.

Carrots - grown from seed, planted into un-composted soil and seem to be growing well though a little close together.

Leeks - in my mini greenhouse, they never seem to look as if they are growing.

Onions - they are with my carrots as I read it was meant to deter carrot flies.

Beans and Peas - The peas are growing well and the beans were only planted a few days ago.

Peppers (Sweet) - growing slowly in my mini greenhouse.

Pumpkins - One doing one, the other seems to be struggling.

Brussel sprouts - I have far too many of these and not enough space.

Tomatoes - just planted these outside and thinking I shouldn't have so I might pop these back in the mini greenhouse.

Cucumber - Cheated with this and bought a cucumber plant as mine all died.

Sowed in mini greenhouse: Onions, carrots, parsnips - I'm hoping that everything else has grown before these need planting outside.

That's it for now.
