Of the 13 or so broad beans planted, nine had showed their heads last weekend. Already showing signs of being munched by flea beatle though!!

Make a mental note to start more stuff off at home and less direct sow, so I can plant them out on lottie when they are a bit bigger and more able to withstand the various undesirables.

Pulled up last of brussels plants and it took Mrs Doc over two hours to prep them all for the freezer.

Onion seeds I planted in cold frame just starting to poke through. Using sets this year and seeds were left over from last year so wasn't too bothered whether they grew or not.

Have all my potatoes in trays chitting in garage. Charlotte, PFA, Pentland Jav and Desiree. Hopefully get less blight this year. Planning to have a few in containers at home just in case!
