Did put together the B&Q cold frame - hope it doesn't get windy tonight as I've just left it on teh grass not pegged down until I decide where it's going.

Also put my link a board bed together ready for putting in place for my cucmbers, hope that fits where I intend it to.

winds have died down now but they reckon they'll be back tonight. Greenhouse has stood up to the task so far, I don't think I could take the shock of losing another one.

Had a bit of bother with Cloches and plastic sheeting protecting early stuff but that's not too bad. One of my brand new Two Wests and Elliott cloches has had a bit broken off though I'm hoping I'll be able to find the missing piece and repair it.

Oh I'm in a right old grump today. All my early tomato plants are looking very, very sad. I'm not sure why, though I suspect a little over watering. I think perhaps I'm not the only one who as been slipping them a drink here and there.

I've done my best to rescue them by transplanting them on in to drier compost and I've moved them to the greenhouse to see if they prefer that.

Just in case I've put new batch in the heated propagator.

Well as expected we didn't get any snow but it has been really cold and even had to scrape the car this morning.

I moved the swift potato bag I planted up and the bucket of sprouts in to the greenhouse just in case.

It's St Piran's Day today and they've been trying to fight for it being a bank holiday but not this year. Shame that would have been nice to have a day off although today I'm suffering from a stonking headache so probably would have ended up spending...
