2nd November and I was workin in my T shirt all day today. A belter of a day !
Weeded my celeriac bed, made up a box for a customer to collect (tatties, carrots onions, leeks, lettuce, celeriac, parsley and chillies) then ripped out the remaining cucumber plants, dug over and fed that area of the tunnel and planted out lettuce and radicchio.
Started working out my business plan for next year - basing it on expanding the business as far as I think I can manage on my own, with a view to taking on an employee in March 2008. It's getting to the stage now where I am spending three nights a week til 9pm delivering boxes and I am one box away from the target I set myself when I started this whole adventure. Not that I mind, but when Baby Rat arrives things will have to change.
Gotta go get ready for my night job as a bouncer now - and I'm having Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday off for a party for my stepfathers 80th. We're going to the Windlestrae Hotel, Kinross and I'm looking forward to my first day off since February 1st.
