Well, this week has been really good for me so far. Monday I had a good clear out of rubbish and caught up on paperwork so my year end accounts are easy to finalise. Tuesday I got pig slurry spread on half my field and rthen ploughed in almost straight away, and today was just so good I am still smiling - got the rest of the field clarted in pig slurry and ploughed and also finally finally finally got my tunnel re-covered. The wind did pick up at one point just after 2 this afternoon but thankfully we were past the worst by then. Tomorrow I will make up my boxes, put the staging and it's capillary matting back in the tunnel, move all the pots etc back into the tunnel from the shed where they are a bloody embuggerance and get everything shipshape and sorted for the start of sowing on Monday.
I've just seen the forecast for the next couple of days and am so glad that the cover went on today - gales again and snow for Friday.
And one other thing, it's my birthday tomorrow, so getting these last three days under my belt is the best present I could give myself.
