Hey all, New Year New start to the disater that was my growing last year.
A little about me my name is Alan im 27 and live In Sunny Bognor Regis, Im Married and have a 1 year old daughter (hence not having much time last year)
I Grew up with Fresh Veg as my Grand parents used to have a smallholding before ill health made them give it up and when i was younger all of my school holidays were spent on the holding.
I am lucky to have an alottment which i took over with my parents in November (if they ever give us the key to the gate
) and i rent an old farm workers cottage on a farm and have a large area about the size of 2 plots in my back garden.
I have always been interested in cooking and like to use fresh ingredients as much as i can and also having a young child im even keener on having a decent source of fresh fruit & Veg.
Organic ???
Where do i stand on organic - In principle i prefer to use natural methods and no chemicals but im afraid i dont go as far as to buy organic seed and if im in the supermarket its unlikely ill buy organic veg unless its on offer.
Thats a bit of background about me more soon
