This Year Will Be the one

Hey all, New Year New start to the disater that was my growing last year.
A little about me my name is Alan im 27 and live In Sunny Bognor Regis, Im Married and have a 1 year old daughter (hence not having much time last year)

I Grew up with Fresh Veg as my Grand parents used to have a smallholding before ill health made them give it up and when i was younger all of my school holidays were spent on the holding.

I am lucky to have an alottment which i took over...

Another frosty morning

Well the frost is back, but the ground wasn't too hard so I could still lift my leeks with a fork instead of the 5ft buckrake tine
My calabrese plants in the polytunnel are now starting to form their first central heads so hopefully the first of them should be ready in two - three weeks time. The PSB in the tunnel is growing strongly but no sign of florets yet, though the PSB in the field (well, those plants that have withstood the rabbits and pheasants) are starting to bud up now. ...

new to the vine. any help welcome

hi there people, this is my first time on the vine started my veg patch for the first time last year had a good crop, had help from father and grandad, but think there a bit dated . now looking for new ideas some please dont be shy any help and tips most welcome.

Couldn't wait any longer

Cleaned the pots, the propagator and the seed trays and couldn't resist sowing something, anything. I realise it's far too early for most things, so settled for sowing onion seed and some parsley (in the propagator).
