for all you potato lovers out there we are holding a potato day in malmesbury sat 31st january 2009. we will have over 50 variety's inc 10 organic variety's all sold by the tuber. onion sets over 100 variety's of organic vegetable and herb seeds from £1.00 per packet. also RHS gold medal winner and guinness world record holder and potato expert Taffy Tatty will be on hand through out the day to answer your potato questions. fair trade tea, coffee and cake and much more....

A modest imporvement this week:

Albigensian Wight, 6 showing, one up on last week.

Chesnok Wight, 2 showing, no change on last week.

Early Purple Wight, a consistent 6.

Elephant Garlic, still nothing showing.

Iberian Wight, all 7 now showing.

Lautrec Wight, 7 out of 7, definitely ahead of the rest.

Provence Wight, 6 showing.

Solent Wight, total of 11 showing out of 14, only one...

The little odd jobs

Spend the day looking back over pictures of my little yard graden from April to August.






2009 I am hoping to get the same results but I will be doing things slightly diffrently.

Today I have done -

- Planted my 'The Sutton' Broadbeans

- Cleared out my 'shed' and...

It's been a good week for the Solent Wight and the current state is:

Albigensian Wight, 5 showing, a good improvement

Chesnok Wight, 2 showing, still lagging.

Early Purple Wight, still only 6 showing.

Elephant Garlic, nothing showing yet, starting to get worried about this.

Iberian Wight, 4 showing.

Lautrec Wight, 7 out of 7, getting taller every day.

Provence Wight, 5 showing.
