Busy day in greenhouse and conservatory. Planted onion sets; transplanted tomatoes, peppers, psb; moved geraniums and various herbs into greenhouse.

Sowed 8 x french beans fingourmet; 2 x courgette zuboda; 2 x courgette gold rush; 12 x lisianthus in one tray and 12 x poached egg plant; 2 each of 3 cucumbers and 6 artichoke gros de laon in another.

April Fool Weather

Well, it's the fourth of April and just when I thought Spring was here it's gone back to Winter. Still the garden's looking good, the spring flowers have been great, daffs, snowdrops, crocuses and anemones. The tulips are now open or opening, depending on variety, and the magnolia is in flower. The forsythia and camellia were about a week earlier to bloom this year than last. Went to the lottie today, and it's not looking too good. Overwintering onions and garlic looking OK, had to weed the...

whoot raised bed finaly done lil wonky but hey im not professional, the fits doesnt leak out so thats it. now i have the panic of not used to all this free space, pumpkin seeds are up, gourds have even started to sprout, have very leggy runners and nasturtiums, gardeners delight up but no big boy as yet,

Moon Trial Day 18 [Flower day]

Sowed: 3 calabrese [2d] and 3 tomatoes [2z]

Lettuces, moon - other 2 seedlings are now up [1a] 17 days to germinate

Lettuces, first noon-mon lettuce up [1y] 12 days to germinate.

Tomatoes; second moon sowings, all 3 up [2b], 5 days to germinate. No leaves through yet, you can just see the seedlings emerging.

Woohoo, its been a week since my accident and I am feeling loads better.
Today went up to my lottie at 10.30 and didnt finish until 2.15pm!! Got my greenhouse back together so back in business.........felt good to be back inside it lol.
Sowed some Blue gourd, Lady Di runner beans and some leeks og and basil!
Noone else was on so had peace and quiet, enjoying a brew and a crafty ciggie lol....

Enjoyed today but my back aches lol.....cant have it all!!
