Just thought we would share this cheap way of keeping those pesky Cabbage Whites off yr brassicas.Get 6/8 lengths of rainwater downpipe approx 1mt .sink in the ground at least 18inch deep 4 either side (not to wide) then get some plastic gas or water pipe u should be able to beg this or pay very little cut into 5m lengths and insert each end into the rainwater pipes to form the arching tunnel.
Then ask or beg again at your local Scaffolding yard for debris netting... |
