Wednesday 19th Tree Down Day...
Posted 19-11-2008 at 08:11 PM by Marthaclematis
The tree-feller fella came today and thinned out the copse, 'the copse', that's a joke really - we had five young plum trees and now we've got two. I've only seen them in the dark but there is quite a difference. There will be so much more light for the bulbs and a better light and view of the climbing rose. I can't wait for spring, I might even plant some more bulbs down there.
Nothing else doin', well except to say the heather is looking good, as are the cyclamen and the cotoneaster. Dh has got rid of loads of leaves and the compost bin is full.
Looking forward to the sun setting earlier - I think its about 32 days and counting.
