.... we've spent all day outside. We dug out a small bed and planted a small lavender next to the french one (which is now in flower) and I planted the two geraniums (present from PJ) next to them. I also topped up the hole in the lawn and put more grass seed down. Oh, and as the seedlings are well on their way I put five of them in their bio-pots in. The soil isn't good where I've put them so its an experiment really. I wish I knew what they were. Silly me didn't bother, thinking, 'I don't care what goes where, I just want lots of colour and surprises'. But on reflection that was a bit rash. I don't know whats what. It will be a surprise alright.
We're going out tonight to a new restaurant. I wish we weren't, I have a hangover from commiserating myself last night - Boris Johnson is the new Mayor of London (heaven help us). And to top that I found out this morning that a member of the BNP got a seat in the London Assembly.
Long weekend off anyway, tomorrow dh is at football and it set to rain, accompanied by thunder and lightening. I'll be hiding indoors.
