Yesterday was the warmest day yet....

Very sunny and about 70 degrees it seemed. we were busy with house and garden. Walked miles yesterday finding the plumbers merchant but were rewarded eventually by the biggest array of bathroom equipment I've ever seen! We bought a shower, a pump and a screen. Then we walked to the Dreams Beds and bought two singles for the spare room. The wallpaper is got and the paint colours chosen. Oh and tiles too, we've chosen them. On the garden front all the bulbs are now planted and all the seeds are sown. PJ dropped off a present of some trays, polystyrene and two geraniums whilst we were out the other day - maybe we'll find room for them. I really don't know where we're going to put all the seedlings we've got now. I know I want poppys around the edge of the lawn and foxglove at the back. This morning was spent raking/mowing/raking/mowing and then raking again at the front; the grass there seems to grow faster than the back, and it gets less sun. Must be a different type.
To update on what's happening:
Plum tree green and lopped by dh.
Clematis growing and has THREE buds ready to bloom.
Daffs nearly over.
Lilac going a treat
French Lavender in bud
Bulbs in pots striking out.
Potatoes in pots have big leafy hallums.
Bed weeded.

I'm proud of what we've done so far this year and can't wait to reap the colourful rewards in a couple of months time.

Off out to Sunday Lunch now - well deserved both of us.
