Washout Weekend

Posted 16-03-2008 at 04:04 PM by Marthaclematis
Sunday 16th March
Rain rain rain..... not been able to get into the garden at all today. The weather is wet and windy. It wasn't so bad on Friday and upon inspection the maincrop potatoes in both pots had sprouted about an inch above the compost so we covered them over with more soil, just looked out again and the one of the first earlys' has popped up too.
The plum tree is in fully bloom now, all the daffs are out and the clematis is up and away
One tiny nasturtium seed has popped its head up!

To do:
Buy more compost and keep covering potato hallums as they appear.
Wait for the rain to stop then cut the grass.
Decide where to put cotoneaster.
Reot Acer into a nice container - buy one.
