Well thought I'd make the most of being on 'industrial action' today- certainly wasn't going to tackle the (ever-present) mountain of work!

Have filled raised bed, sown radish, beetroot (think boltardy but the top of the packet has gone from last year), salad bowl and general salad mix, and white lisbon. Planted out ruby chard and spinach.

Then forked over the short row I dug at the weekend, was surprised to find it was long enough to fit 8 Rooster tubers in. Still got another load to do but will put them in over the bank hol (want some late ones ideally).

Finally planted out my strawberries and netted them.

3 hours in total inc to-ing and fro-ing.

Oh and lovely plot neighbour gave me some sprouting broccoli

Can't face digging more spud room at the mo so this weeked I am going to clear over the easier end to make space for my peas to go in.
