Busy, busy, busy... but freezing.

Forgot about this blog for a month - whoops!

It's absolutely freezing in suburban south London. I even crossed the border into Surrey today and I couldn't move my hands after a short spell outdoors.

Meanwhile, the greenhouse is kept above 4 degrees, and is filling up with young plants. And so are the windowsills in the house.

Let's see if I can remember what has been sown... in the greenhouse I think there is:

Shallots, from seed, 3 types for an experiment.
Spring onions - North Holland Blood Red
Cabbages - Duncan, Advantage, Pyramid, Protovoy
Cauliflowers - Mayflower, Candid Charm, Graffiti, Avalanche
Calabrese - Kabuki
Carrots - Amsterdam Forcing, Ideal
Peas - Douce Provence
Beetroot - Boltardy
Strawberries - alpines from seed
Potatoes - Foremost, International Kidney
Lettuce - little gem, lobjoits green cos, salad bowl, bijou

And indoors...

Aubergine - Bonica
Chilli - garden salsa, meek & mild, hungarian hot wax
Tomatoes - umm, well I might have over-done it again
