Here I am buying enough seeds and artichokes, grape vines and plum trees/blueberries and asparagusto set up a small holding and the weather goes and turns!

Finally had a few days off work over half-term (I am a teacher in FE) get up and look out the window and the plants are sitting in my kitchen now. Frosts here in South Leicestershire are possibly the worst I have ever seen. Ground is frozen solid and my plans to get digging have got to remain on hold until the weekend.

On the bright side, my route to work this morning was the most spectacular I have ever seen. Trees that were pure white with icicles hanging from them, it was pretty amazing.
