Hi i'm a total novice to growing anything. But me and my family are going to have a good go at it.
Spent a very enjoyable afternoon in the shed with my 4 year old son today. We potted up our strawberry seedlings along with seeds of tomatoes, chilies and sweet peppers and put them in a propagater on the kitchen windowsill.
We also potted up some Early Nantes 5 Carrots that my son had pick up in B&Q. These were put into a container on the patio.
We are on a waiting list for an allotment but don't know how long this will take so we intend to grow what ever we can in containers until the happy day arrives.
I hope we can have many more enjoyable afternoons like this over the coming months and years.
