    Potted up rooted lemongrass
    Heavy prune and repot with perlite Lemon Verbena. Prunings used as cuttings in 12 module block.

    Moved pea shots from pot into bed 1 square. Close sowing of leftovers led to quite a few rotting.

    With the country in the throes of a drought, you’d think that April showers were something of a God send. Finally, the arid earth of the hobbitland allotment would be quenched. The easter weekend passed with the lotment being left to it’s own devices; I was elsewhere, but it was most definitely at the fore of mind. The plan had been to use Easter Monday to sink potatos. Alas, the April showers suggested other things ought to be done.

    Morning all.

    Busy morning, sown some carrots (32 now, and sets of 32 at and of the months to July, now I've looked at me seed packet), 40+ red onion sets, 60 ish onion sets, about 30 shallots, did a random square foot cast of white lisbon spring onions and a row of peas. On the north end (left) I've planted some quick salad leaves while I wait for my tomatoes and better weather. Oh, i've planted out some marigolds too and some flowers at back.
