Grow Your Own Magazine

Horrible day outside so thought we would plant the free seeds we got from a magazine. I have never done this before so we are all very new to it and what a mess they made but they had great fun putting all the soil into the little holes, watering, then putting these tiny seeds on top of the soil.

I just hope that something grows otherwise Im gonna have 3 very unhappy girls

Its been a crazy 7mths. Havent been able to get to the allotment alot since i first posted on our blog because we have been busy.... getting married getting pregnant with baby number 4 , decorating, school committees and parent and toddler group committees... the list goes on and on.

But the last 2 weeks we have made an effort to get down there and so far we have made 1 raised bed for us (planted spinanch, beetroot and lettuce) and 1 small bed for the girls just to dig around...

Hello, anybody there?

I am new to the world of allotments, having only had our plot for one season, with a modicam of success. We now approach another funfilled, fruitful (hopefully) year; if I can get my head around crop rotation, sowing schedules, bugs, advice and not to mention the time.
