More rain and cold winds !

Well, after a scorcher on Sunday, it's back to reality and cold north easterlies and rain - still, at least it is replenishing my IBC tanks.
I'gve been quite busy since my last entry - have planted 50kg of Lady Christl, 50 kg of Charlotte, but am still waiting for my 50kg of Edzell Blues to arrive - hopefully this week ! I have also planted 25 kg of J/Artichokes, sowed 450m of Spring Onion White Lisbon and 450m Carrots Early Nantes. I have also divided my field into 5 distinct areas - for...

At last at home after the daily grind, what a comfort to get out into the garden. Rushing down to the greenhouse, to see what little seed has made its way to sunlight. Never would have dreamed as a youngster that I would have found this activity remotely interesting.

Glad to report on the Tomato famine, at last a couple of seeds have 'hatched' and are growing well. Perhaps the warm spell had some impact, thanks to the commenter on my Tom Less blog, you were right they just needed...

Space - the final frontier

I seem to have this weird condition whereby in my mind the garden and my pots are about 50 times bigger and more numerous than they really are. Is it treatable by modern drugs, I wonder?

As always, I am wondering exactly where I am going to put the dozens of plants that are currently growing in 3 inch pots in the greenhouse and around the garden.

I am going to have to chuck a few brassicas on the compost as there is just nowhere to put them. I've got deja vu.

hi all,
im new to the grapvine as a blogger though as i said in my intro yesterday i have been looking at the site for a few weeks for advice,
