I've only a tiny garden and doing square footish gardening. I have got some Durham Early Cabbage I have grown from seed, but no room! Thought I might try in largis pots in the greenhouse, would this work, would they be earlier?

Have tried to keep up with allotment despite new job demands and being a didtance from home. Being able to swing by at times difficult but most weeks get there to do harvesting and mnor tinkering.
Therefore very pleased that time for harvesting sweet potatoes has come with the cold finally starting to knock off the foliage anytime now. Not wanting to let the tubers spoil with cold I tentatively dug up some a few weeks ago. Pulling back the black cloth the soil was drier than expected and...

Not sure How long i am going to be able to keep this up to be honest, between posting and a lovely little diary i found for my computer, But come the spring planting i do want to keep a track of how it's going for anyone thats interested.
In the meantime, whilst i am preparing the garden, I will try and post some before and after pics of how things are progressing.
