Default Kinghorn Allotments

Hey

As you might be aware from a recent thread of mine, I'm moving to Kinghorn in a couple of months time and so on the look out for an allotment. I've approached the council and they've put me on the waiting list for a could of allotments in Kirckaldy as those are the closest ones apparently. So that's a start.

Then the other day I got an email from the council again, to let me know that there are allotments in Kinghorn but they are not council run. They've given me the location, but no contact number or any names. What's the best thing for me to do - just pop down and see if there is anyone about? I've never been on an allotment and don't know how to go about enquiring really. Any advice would be most welcome.
